SOUND BATH CONCERTS
ASHEVILLE FRINGE 2026 WINNER FOR SOUND DESIGN

CHECK OUT THE ALBUM
‘A Trembling Flame’ is Moira Murphy’s first solo album. This meditative collection features vocals, synth, ambient guitar, singing bowls, tingsha bells, and frame drum that create an ethereal atmosphere.
The majority of the tracks are Moira’s arrangements of chants by the 12th century polymath Hildegard von Bingen. The album also features 2 arrangements of hymns by trailblazing Byzantine nun Kassia and one new original composition.
MEDIEVAL + MORE
The original program, called Sisters of Light, centers around the work of 12th century polymath Hildegard von Bingen in conversation with other works as is inspired by the season or the venue. Past performances have included 9th century Byzantine nun and composer Kassia, American folk songs and hymns, and original works by Moira.

A FLEXIBLE RECITAL PROGRAM
This program is perfect for: chapels, art galleries, ampitheatres, multi-use arts spaces, meditative retreat centers, and unusual, intimate venues. It is a solo project and travels easily! Additionally, this material is flexible and available not only as a sound bath with guided meditation, but could be paired in conjunction with other immersive events or exist as a more traditional recital program at your institution or venue.
